Silver Carving K100 Metal Mechanical Keyboard with 108 Keys and Seven-Colour Backlight

The Silver Carving K100 is a wired USB mechanical keyboard built around a full 108-key layout and mechanical axis key technology. It uses a metal body, measures 475 x 209 x 22mm, and comes with a 1.55m cable for connecting to a computer. The seven-colour backlight includes 12 kinds of lighting effects, which can help make the keys easier to see in a dim room. This model is the black mixed light black shaft version, and it is supplied with a large hand rest and mobile phone holder. Buyers can also choose from Black, Black Knob upgrade version and White Knob upgrade version, with Black shaft or Green axis styles, depending on the listing option selected.

Features and Construction

The K100 focuses on the core parts that matter for a wired mechanical keyboard: the key count, the switch type, the connection method and the physical build. Each of these is stated in the product information, so the description stays close to what is known about the keyboard rather than guessing at extra features.

Material and Build

The keyboard has a metal body, which gives it a firm, solid presence on the desk. The source states mechanical axis key technology, meaning the keys use mechanical switches rather than a membrane design. The full 108-key arrangement covers a standard extended layout, so there are dedicated keys for typing, number entry and common shortcuts. The wired USB interface connects directly to a computer, and the 1.55m cable gives some room to route the keyboard around a monitor, tower or laptop setup. The product size of 475 x 209 x 22mm describes the overall footprint and low profile of the keyboard body.

Size and Practical Fit

At 475 x 209 x 22mm, this is a full-width keyboard that needs a reasonably clear desk area. The 22mm height keeps the body relatively low, while the 475mm width accommodates the 108 keys. The 1.55m cable is long enough for many desktop arrangements, though the exact reach depends on where the computer sits. A large hand rest is included to support the front of the keyboard area, and a mobile phone holder is also part of the supplied set. These additions are practical for users who keep a phone nearby while working or gaming.

Uses and Placement

This keyboard is intended for wired desktop use, whether at home, in a study or at a gaming setup. The backlight and bundled accessories shape how it can be placed and used in different rooms and lighting conditions.

Event or Professional Use

For shared desks, office work or study sessions, the 108-key layout provides number keys and navigation keys without needing shortcuts. The metal body stays put on a flat surface, and the wired USB connection avoids the need for charging or pairing. The seven-colour backlight with 12 lighting effects can be adjusted for different lighting conditions, which may help when working late or in a room with low ambient light. The mobile phone holder is useful for keeping a phone visible during calls, notes or timers.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the K100 can serve as a main keyboard for a desktop PC or as a wired option for a laptop setup. The 475 x 209 x 22mm size suits a permanent desk station, while the 1.55m cable allows some flexibility in where the computer sits. The black mixed light finish with black shaft switches keeps the look understated while still offering backlight colour. The included hand rest supports the wrists during longer typing sessions, and the phone holder keeps a mobile device within reach without cluttering the desk.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this keyboard comes from its stated combination of a full key count, mechanical switches, a metal body, wired USB connection and bundled hand rest and phone holder. The description avoids unsupported claims about speed, durability or gaming performance.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Because the keyboard is wired, it does not rely on batteries or charging, so it is ready to use whenever the computer is on. The metal body can be wiped with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, and the keys can be kept clean with gentle, dry brushing where needed. The backlight can be switched off or set to one of the 12 lighting effects, which may help reduce distraction in some settings. These are simple, material-based care points rather than specialist maintenance instructions.
